Stop by the Ashland Farmers Market on Saturday mornings for the freshest locally grown produce and goods. Enjoy a variety of vegetables, fruits, berries, herbs, baked goods, eggs, honey, meat, flowers, and more. The Farmers Market is located in downtown Ashland and is open Saturdays May to October, with special holiday markets in the late fall.
About Ashland:
A turn-of-the-century railroad town, Ashland was originally developed by the RF&P Railroad as a resort for Richmonders. Today the railroad tracks still send trains rumbling through the center of town, past Randolph-Macon College, lovely historic homes, shops, and unique eateries.
Location: behind Town Hall, next to the Duncan Street parking lot.
2013 Season Schedule: Open 9 a.m. to Noon every Saturday, May 5 through October 26, with three special holiday markets:
Train Day - November 2
Thanksgiving Market - November 23
Holiday Market - December 1
